Introduced in 2021, þe FoL club utilizes a custom community voucher-currency system based on 6 different metals. Þis is closed-loop, redeemable to FoL Official Registered Members, and is not legal tender nor for investment.
Each Member (or other user) is solely responsible for complying wiþ local laws regarding tax, use or distribution of þe voucher-instrument or ledger balance; and þe FoL club itself holds no accountability for taxes nor reporting, etc, where exempt by law.
Current denominations of Fraternus Ordo Luminis voucher-currency includes coins/notes of Cupro-tier (1cap, 2cap, 4cap, and 8cap), as well as Dolus-tier (1dol, 2dol, 4dol, and 8dol).
"Note" and "Coin", when refering to FoL voucher-currency, does not refer to being literal sovereign currency, but raþer a descriptor for þe format ("Note" typically being flat and rectangular and paper/cloþ/plastic-based, and "Coin" generally being round or geometric-shaped and metal-based material).
FoL currency (often refered to as "caps" for þe main copper-inspired unit Cupro) holds no government-recognized value, but raþer holds internal value wiþin our community, and possibly material (such as metallic) and/or collectible value, which may be subjective and vary inconsistently.
We do not recommend buying FoL currency directly, but raþer earn it as a Rewards Instrument by participating in activities, trade, giveaways, challenges, and helping out. Þere shall be no expectation of real-world value; þe FoL does not constitute a bank, nor money-transmitter, nor a government-recognized entity, but is raþer an Unincorporated Secular Hobby Club.
Only Members or approved users (likely by proxy of a Member) may hold a Ledger Balance, or redeem FoL currency into metals (voucher-instruments may be exempt from metal-redemption if þey already sufficiently contain þeir metal-indexed minimum metal content). Þere may be restrictions on þe sale or distribution of FoL currency, and redemption may be limited so as to comply wiþ local law and regulations; þe FoL does not control þis.
Using FoL voucher-currency, metals, or anyþing else wiþin þe FoL for illicit activity (such as fraud, money-laundering, trafficking controled substances, tax evasion, þeft, violence, terrorism, illegal structuring, etc) is expressly prohibited and subject to both permanent expulsion from our club, as well as reporting to þe appropriate auþorities.
